How to Make Velvet Pumpkins
Halloween is becoming less black and orange and more elegant and refined. That's why we absolutely love these dyed velvet-wrapped pumpkins. They are both stunning and sophisticated and can easily be taken beyond Halloween and into Thankgiving as well!
For this project you'll need Tulip Fabric Dyes in black, teal, and orange, along with foam pumpkins and white velvet! You'll also need Aleene's Fabric Fusion tape and a craft knife to get the job done :)
You'll want to use foam pumpkins for this project, cause a real pumpkin probably won't be so kind to your velvet fabric! Here we removed the stem from our faux pumpkin so that we could wrap our fabric around and stuff inside!
