Autumn 2014: Creating a Cozy, Natural Autumn in My Home

This year I decorated our home for fall by bringing in the beauty of the outdoors.
A tiny, beautiful branch fits perfectly in a simple bud vase.
A stack of cozy blankets keep us warm at the patio fireplace.
Inside, the mantle is simple this year, with branches and a row of pumpkins.
The kids love these tiny pumpkins, and they look perfect set in a row on the brass tray.
I love the look of cobalt blue mixed with the traditional colors of autumn.
Rustic touches from an old toolbox and the bittersweet dinner plates from my childhood. Thanks Mom for passing these on to me.
