Gold Tipped Feather Wreath

Have you been seeing all the white feathers with gold tips on Pinterest? I’ve seen so many ideas where people have used them, and I knew I had to have some! I needed some project that showcased these awesome feathers. It took lots of brain storming and internet searching for affordable feathers, before I finally decided what was going to be created with these amazing feathers. If you follow me on Instagram, then you got a peek of these feathers.
Here is what I created!
This wreath turned out absolutely beautiful, and the icing on the cake was that it was so easy to make. I know your probably thinking yea right! But honestly it was so quick and easy.

First I painted my Dollar Tree foam wreath form with a Rustoleum gorgeous gold spray paint. As you can tell this foam form has been used before, but that’s not a problem because it still worked perfectly for this project.
Next I spray painted the tips of each feather gold with the same paint. Actually, I spray painted one feather, and while it was still wet I sprinkled on gold glitter. Then I moved on to the next feather.
Next I just started sticking these feathers around the foam form, and filled in the center with those small white fluffy feathers. You know those cheap ones you can buy a package for a few bucks. This way I only used the more expensive feathers around the perimeter.
Aren’t these feathers absolutely gorgeous! Once I had all the feathers in, I just glued a piece of gold ribbon around the center to hide the foam form. This wreath is golden! Literally and figuratively. I’m in love with it! Happy Fall Y’all!
