I want a beautiful patio area, but I need help!

I am looking for inexpensive ideas. I don't know what to do with this area.
We have several encore azaleas against the house lining the sidewalk. We put down "screen" to keep weeds out and it hasnt worked. We are not "weed pulling" people and I don't know what to plant.
There are some azaleas in this area and a few tulips that come up every spring.
The bricks on the side where the grill is are beginning to sink. I can't really put anything on that side without having to put something underneath it to level it off and to me, that is tacky.

Kelly, go through some of the posts on HT and you'll see plenty of creative ideas for wall sculptures and garden staging to compliment plants in large pots or in the ground. I'm sure no one will mind you using their idea in your yard, or it simply will serve as inspiration.
