Compost Tea

I noticed just over a week ago that my potted zucchini's were looking like I needed to adjust their feeding levels. I made a liquid manure by filling buckets 2/3 full of compost and topping with water. After about 3-4 days of sitting, I roughly strained this mixture and applied the mix to my plants.
They just received their second feeding tonight but already the color is adjusting....I'll post another pic in few days on their progess. This garden tip is part of a 'mid summer chores' post I recently did. Needs Nitrogen...

Add water and let sit for 3-4 days
Roughly strain and apply....that's it :) Easy Peesy!
