Gabriel's Affordable Floors LLC shares tips on how to ensure gap free laminate flooring.
Most laminate flooring these days simply clicks together during installation, however, the end joints are standard tongue and groove connections. They’re free to come apart.
Should the edge-locked joints not provide enough friction, the laminate pieces will slide relative to each other, creating a clearance gap left between the floor and the walls.
This gap is covered over the baseboard, so you won’t see it, however, the laminate can still slide. End-gap openings happen more often in high traffic areas especially in the winter, when the air is dry, the joints are loosest, and foot traffic causes movement which eventually add up.
If your flooring contractor has already laid the laminate floor, and it begins to show end gaps, the repair is simply applying some wood glue into the tongue and groove gaps when they show, before sliding the flooring using your hand together.

I was very much impressed to see lovely piece on laminate flooring. The tips and ideas you have shared are really helpful and effective. One of the best qualities about this product is that it can be as smooth or as textured as you like. Before installing you should make sure that sub floor is completely flat and free of divots, defects or bumps. I am also expertise in this trade and our experienced team of specialists and service providers will ensure this project in a very meticulous manner. Good explanation.
