Vintage Lawn Chair Reno

My husband and I found two vintage metal lawn chairs in the basket weave pattern at a 43 mile yard sale that covered three towns. They had belonged to the seller's in-laws and she said it was just time to let them go. The old chippy patina on them was so cool I really hated to paint them, but didn't want them to rust away.
After a lot of sanding with both a wire drill attachment and sand paper, and a few coats of primer and spray paint, they look like new!
They will eventually be included in a part of the backyard yet to be landscaped. If you like vintage and retro, this style of chair fills the bill and is really quite comfortable. They sell for high amounts re-done, but if you find some in rough condition and put in just a bit of work, you can get a great result for a small investment.

Rather than spray paint visit your local powder coating company and it will last a lifetime. If your in Tulsa Oklahoma. Take it to J&J powder coating they do the best.
