Chic Mudroom Makeover

Even a mudroom can use a chandelier! See how I went from a drab, messy mudroom to a chic & pretty space - that is still totally functional!
We started with this - a mess of coats,hats and backpacks, kid art taped to the wall, drab walls, and an uninviting space.
"Before"
I added framed pin boards to easily add (and subtract) the many piece of art brought home from school.
A lower group of hooks were added for backpacks.
The bench cushion was recovered, walls painted, and a natural fiber shade hung. Pretty pillows soften up the space.
A painted ceiling and a pretty flush-mount chandelier added the right amount of "glam" to the room.
