Modern & Bold Fall Home Tour

I used to think that in order to decorate for the holidays, you had to have a neutral palette in your home. My home is far from netural (teal and gray), so the traditional fall colors didn't mix well with my decor. But this year I decided to create my own modern and bold version of fall - teal, orange, gray and yellow. And I love the way it all came together!
You can find my full Fall Home Tour on my blog, but I'll give you a couple of sneak peeks below.

I swapped out our normal pillows for dark teal, orange and yellow, which look great on our "salt and pepper" colored couch. I painted some traditional shaped candle holders in three shades of teal and paired them with orange, yellow and gray candles. And to keep our coffee table display kid-friendly, I created a fun pumpkin tic tac toe game, which is a huge hit with my toddlers. {The pumpkin tic tac toe tutorial is on my blog}
I added yellow and gray pillows to my modern Barcelona chairs, added a vase of bold orange flowers, and swapped out the candles on the photo shelves for orange and yellow.
To add some natural elements to the space, I filled the base of my lamp with wine corks, and colored the edges of some burlap leaves.
In the kitchen, I went with a similar color scheme of teal, blue, and yellow. I created a quick and easy custom art piece using a stretched canvas, scrapbook paper and spray paint. {The canvas art tutorial is on my blog}. I also repurposed three wine bottles by painting them in metallics and using them as vases. {The wine bottle vase tutorial is on my blog}
On the kitchen table, I created a centerpiece using some blue glass pumpkins paired with sunflowers for a bright pop of yellow.
