Meyer lemon tree question

I have a 3-4 yr old Meyer lemon tree in a pot. It set fruit this year for the first time. The lemons are still yellow/green and have been for quite a while. When do these things usually ripen fully?

Figure on four months from bloom to ripe fruit, Elaine. If it is still yellow-green it is not fully ripe. A fully ripe Meyer lemon should be a golden orange/yellow. You'll develop a feel for this the longer you have your tree, but there's nothing like a taste test.
