Faux Marble Tables

Windgate Lane
by Windgate Lane
I got these side tables at Target on clearance for $30 and loved that the sides were powder coated white- but disliked the ash wood tops- so I decided to use some marble contact paper to change that up!
I carefully smoothed it on (thankfully you can reposition if you need to) and made sure to measure enough to wrap around the edges.
I wanted them as a coffee table so putting them together just adds more interest.

So far- no one has been able to tell the difference! Yay!

Very cute! Definitely brightened up the peice. I had a wood table/bookshelf that I was using for our fish tank. I put a marbled shelf liner on it to protect it from water. Later we upgraded our 2nd tank (2 - 10 gallons) and found a really nice solid wood dresser to put Both of the fish tanks on. This time I used Clean Shelf Liner to not take away from the nice wood, but protect it from water. Practically invisible.
