One of my window screens needs to be replaced.

Here's a photo of one of the other screens. The one that needs replacement is seriously bent and no longer fits tightly in the window so I need another one. But where do I find them or have them made? I know how to put the screen in them but Iwonder if making a screen like this might be a DIY project with limited cutting tools. I'll gladly pay to have one made if I can find a source.
Close up.

  • I believe Ace Hardware repairs them.

@Jennifer @ Decorated Chaos I need a new one, not a repair. The flimsy metal is nearly broken into two pieces. Could they fix that, I wonder?

I found a video showing to buy a replacement screen kit at Lowe's or HD. Super simple and super cheap. Will stop by Lowe's tomorrow.
  • Ace also has them if you want to fully replace. Just a suggestion.

Happened to me, too. I just phoned around and got lucky. One of the window/door places had been in business a long time and never threw out their old material. Matched it up from their old stock and made me a new one.

Try your local glass replacement service. Here in my home town the guy that replaces the window pane can replace the screen as well.
