I am thrilled to announce that my long-awaited etsy.com shop, Waffle Bunny Creations is finally open for business! So far I have four items listed (shown below), but I plan to add more in the very near future (including custom family name signs)! This is something I have been thinking about doing for a long time and finally pulled the trigger… very slowwwwly pulled the trigger… who knew how much work it is to open an etsy shop?? I would love it if you could take a minute to check out my shop: www.etsy.com/shop/wafflebunnycreations. You can also shop on my blog at http://movingtothecountryryanhomes.blogspot.com/p/shop.html.
You might be wondering where my shop name came from... To begin with, I love bunnies. I had two rabbits growing up (Sniffers and Franky) and I currently have a rabbit named Peter (who may or may not have his own bedroom in our house). My old boss was quite the jokester, and when things would get stressful around the office he would email us random photos or memes to lighten the mood. When he sent the "waffle bunny" picture, I fell in love with this little bunny named Oolong. He even has his own wikipedia page! So from then on, whenever I was down or needed a laugh, Greg would send me the waffle bunny picture to make me smile. I mean, if this doesn't make you smile I don't know what will!!
I was mulling over names for my shop with friends in our group text chatroom and I had just sent them the picture of the waffle bunny, so one of them suggested I name my shop after him. At first I thought it was so silly, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. I mean, it makes me smile every time I think about it, so I am hoping it will bring smiles to the faces of everyone who visits my shop as well! And if anything, it will be a conversation starter, right? Thanks for reading and please leave me a comment if you have any comments or suggestions for my shop! I am totally new at this, so I will take all the advice I can get!
