DIY Copper Pipe Tray

I love trays and have a few in our home already, but not one that allows me to comfortably sit in bed on my laptop or iPad {with attached keyboard}. So if you are looking for a fun and customizable DIY Christmas Gift idea, or just something you can use, how about making a pretty pipe tray? You can view the full post and tutorial on my blog, UpcycledTreasures.com.

Here are the cut pipes and pipe fittings used for my tray {visit my blog for the cut list}. The only thing not shown are the 4 copper end caps I used on the handles.
I created the wooden tray from some wood leftover from previous projects.
This is what I used to create the "U" shaped legs for the tray. DIY Copper Pipe Tray | UpcycledTreasures.com
Since you can’t thread copper like other pipes, I used Epoxy to adhere the pipes to the pipe fittings without them coming loose.

The tray handles were made out of pipes, bell hangers and copper end caps.
