Country Style Denim Fall Wreath

We absolutely adore wreaths here at Daily DIY Life! Something about seeing a nice welcoming wreath on the front door to someones home is very eye catching and inviting. We do try to change our wreath out each season or Holiday depending on the time of year. A fall favorite this year is an adorable country style Denim Wreath.
Supplies:

10 inch Straw Wreath form (do not remove the plastic)

Denim Fabric (We used 2 and 1/2 pant legs for this project) – Cut into strips (3″ x 1″)

Flannel Fabric – ripped into strips 2 ” wide

Twine

Hot Glue

Screw Driver (or a knitting needle would work too)
Place your screwdriver in the center of a denim strip. Force the center of the fabric into the straw wreath form. Leaving a good amount sticking up from the wreath.
Continue to do this until your entire wreath form is covered with the denim strips. This will take time, and is best to work on a hard surface so you can have a little leverage when pushing the fabric into the wreath. I like to start from the outside and move to the center with the main fabric color, Leaving gaps along the way that I will fill in later with a contrasting color.
After your wreath is covered with the denim fabric, hot glue the flannel to your wreath wrapping it as you go.

I used one of the pant leg hems for my hanger. I just tied it in a knot and put the knot part behind the wreath so you cant see it.Add an accent bow using the flannel strips and twine (you can use raffia instead, it looks great both ways). To make the bow I made 8 large loops and tied them in the center. Wrapped the center with twine and hot glued it to the wreath form.
