What does the bloom look like? Does it live through the winter in Pa?

ok four season, i have never seen it bloom. the top of the leaf looks just like the under side in the pic. no winter for this baby. i dry it through winter,re plant in spring, put out side and this is what i get. it only last 2-3mo. and dies back. this is part of my problem, iam not sure if iam doing something wrong. a friend said its non professional name is devils tongue?!

Whatever it is, it is really unique. Looks tropical. I love the spotted stem.

It Looks Like Devils Tongue To Me Too...The Reason it Dies out is Because it is a Tropical Perennial...Treat It as You Would a Venus fly Trap..Keep it Potted and When the Temp. outside Cools Below 70 Bring it in the House...It Will Go Dormant on it's own..When it Does...Keep it Cool and Sorta dry...Then in the Spring Start watering..They are VERY Stinky when They Bloom...If You Allow it to Complete a Cycle You Should get a Bloom Next spring~Summer

thanks trish, it is a devils tongue - amorphohallus. every summer the bottom of the stem splits, turns mushy-slimy, and falls off. it does not do anything after that so i dried the bulb and replanted it this spring. it grew but its stem did the same as last year and this time 1 of the 2 bulbs was mushy n rotted. so it has never bloomed. i did not know it had to come in when temp. goes below 70! thank u for your imput, it helped
