$1 Ghost Tassel Garland

We don't typically decorate for Halloween, nor are we big celebrators. BUT, we do like handing out candy to all the adorable trick-or-treaters. I figured I needed SOMETHING to "spookify" our front porch even a little so that kiddos would even WANT to come trick-or-treating to our house. For only $1 and using a plastic tablecloth, I created this cute little Ghost Tassel Garland!
I used a white tablecloth from the Dollar Store, and unfolded it just once. I cut off a little section, and started cutting strips up about 1/3 of the way.
I did the same for the other side. I then rolled up the section with the "tassels" on either end.
I twisted the middle and added a little hot glue to attach. Then, I took a little strip of the extra tablecloth and wrapped it around the glued part to make the "head". Add a little mouth and some eyes and you're set!
I glued them on twine and hung it over the window on my front porch! To see more detailed pictures and instructions, visit my blog!
