DIY Spooky Bat Banner

Looking for a super simple and quick banner to make for a Halloween party, for your mantel or just to add some SPOOK to your front porch? This banner took me less than 15 minutes, no joke!
With just a few simple steps, you too can have an adorable bat banner that's perfectly spooky!
I used my silhouette machine for this project, but don't worry, if you don't have one, simply print an image of a bat, cut it out and trace it onto your construction paper. You will just spend a little more time cutting out the bats. My silhouette had about 20 bats cut out in about 2 minutes!
Gathering my cutouts, I grabbed my fishing line and began to attach them using my heated glue gun. I put each bat in different directions, at the same time, creating a pattern.
We were having a Fall fire with friends, so I taped it to our barn and wind blowing made it look like the bats were flying! The kids loved it, and it was the perfect addition to our evening! I will be saving this one to enjoy for years to come!
