Wondervu House

Home owner had installed some great White oak flooring, but not being a flooring professional, some poor choices were made in its finishing...first the floor was not sanded prior to being finished...This was a first encounter of this type for me...second a water based poly was used that imparted a dull milky look.
This floor was in service (in a rental) with some less desirable tenants for less than a year...there was some obvious water damage in the entry area. Floor was sanded and finished with a nice oil based product to bring out this great wood's character.
I'm currently working on painting some doors and trim...the MDF trim was installed but never caulked or painted...
Door and trim painting is complete...next up on the list is tiling the entry way...stay tuned for more updates
New 50 gal water heater

Beautiful! Love what you did. Will keep you in mind when we reach the point of getting our beech harwood floors refinished.
