This year's Argiope garden spider

I usually see at least one of these every year. This is the spider I tolerate best. She is so well-behaved - spins a web, then sits there day after day. I always know where to find her, so there are no accidental or scary encounters. She is trying to help me overcome my fear of spiders :) I respect her space and appreciate her help in my garden.

This is a truly wonderful spider. I love garden spiders. I have a Chilean Rose Haired tarantula. She is amazing, and have had her almost 10 years now.
