Dresser Makeover - Metallic Silver Paint & Textured Wallpaper!

Okay, I had a friend who wanted me to paint this sucker red and I was all for it. Then, she called me this week and told me she was going to Russia. Yes, Russia. So, I had this gigantic stinker in my hallway just sitting there getting in the way. For all you paint-haters, take a flying leap. If I want to bounce it off my balcony, I thought about it and almost did! LOL. Anyway, I wanted to do something new. I had this textured wallpaper laying around and had to take a chance....So, here it goes....
Before. Yes, beautiful as is. Moving on...
Sides done....
I decoupaged the sides with textured paintable wallpaper. That yellow dresser is something I may just throw off the balcony, but that's an entirely different story!....
Drawers done...
Then I painted it medium gray all over, but I still wasn't satisfied. I wanted this stinker to "pop"! So, I decided to paint over the gray with silver metallic paint. Then, I kept the original hardware and spray painted them in a metallic antique nickel....
My favorite part of this dresser is the feet!
Wallah!! :-)

Yes I will. I have 2 small dressers, that I’ve been trying to decide what to do to them. I knew I wanted them silver, but I wasn’t completely happy with just plain silver. This is my answer. Thanks for posting
