What companies make slipcovers besidea Ikea and Surefit? Aren't there other options?

If you have Calico Corners in your area, they made slipcovers for me about 7 years ago. They weren't cheap but they did a gorgeous job. They even slip-covered a wingback chair and it is fitted so well, people think it's upholstered. The seamstress came right to my house, cut and pinned the fabric to the furniture and returned the finished slip-covers a week or two later. They do periodically run sales on fabric and labor but even if you want to buy your fabric someplace else, they will still make slip-covers for you.

I also wanted to add, I first tried the ready-made slipcovers from SureFit and although they were nice quality, they didn't fit my sofa and loveseat well at all due to the style. My inner neat freak could not deal with all the loose, ill-fitting material. Hence, my need to splurge on custom made. It was definitely an investment but if you have good quality furniture in a classic style that you plan to keep for a long time, it is well-worth it.

couple years ago bought a recliner slipcover from J C Penny's. It fit well and is holding up ok. one trick is to put rolled up newspaper down TIGHT in around the cushions. this helps alot

I have two chairs I used Surefit covers. They run a little large and I used pool noodles to fit them tightly around the seat cushions. They work Great! A little tough to get situated but even when they get sat on the fabric stays put.
