Foolproof DIY Impressionistic Paintings!

NO painting or drawing skillz required! These canvases are easy to do, and bring a pop of color to naked walls. All you need is some paints, molding paste, and a brush. Impressionistic color bands and lots of blending! The how to and lots more pics at myclevernest.com.
Impressionistic style is incredibly forgiving. I literally smacked on the paint and blended it in. I'm so happy it turned out!
I'm so happy how these give a much needed pop of color to my very neutral living room!
The textured look comes from spreading something called molding paste onto the canvas and letting it dry before applying the paint. It makes it look like the paint was applied so rich and thick that it created ridges.
The more colors the merrier :)
Can you do the Blend and Swish?

C'mon baby.... let's Blend and Swish.... and it goes like this! Awesome, AWESOME idea and beautifully done. Just FYI for us cheapies: spackling or joint compound, homemade "texture paint" recipes are available in many places online. I sometimes use caulking if I want to make swirls or squiggles for added interest.

I knew these were paintings, but my brain fooled me for a bit as they looked like windows looking onto a beach.
