If you tend to embrace the more eerie and mysterious than ghoulish and gory side of Halloween, Poe's raven is a perfect accent for subtly spooky decor. No need to save those clear globe ornaments just for Christmas- when you pop in a printable, black feather accents and ribbon, they make fun "Halloween ornaments"
No Halloween tree? Globes can be hung in windows or from chandeliers
or perched on candlesticks
I displayed with slightly spooky props and "food coloring" potion from my witch tea party

raven images are easy to find online- I created these using free images from the graphics fairy
have fun with different variations
Raven cupcakes add sweetness to the scene
create a flock by perching other ravens around
