When you hear the word “grout,” what’s your first thought?
Maybe you think “fresh” or “beautiful,” but we bet something more like “dingy” or “stained yellow” comes to mind. We get it – grout can be a pain to clean, especially if you’re tackling nasty stains. But with the right tools, itis possible to have great-looking grout! http://bit.ly/1fh4ISb
Try one of these tricks to give your grout new life:For a Fresh Start: Grout Renew
If your grout situation is feeling so hopeless that you’ve thought about gutting your tiles and starting over, check out Grout Renew before scheduling demo day!
Grout Renew is a five-star stain and sealer that gives you the re-grouted look without all of the re-grouting effort. All you do is basically cover your old, stained grout with the color of your choice. The sealer is fade and stain resistant, plus it’s designed to fight mold and mildew.

If you’ve ever seen an OxiClean infomercial, you’ve heard that oxygen bleach is great at cleaning clothes, but its stain-fighting power works just as well on dirty grout!
To use the classic bleach-alternative on grout, mix water with powdered oxygen bleach according to the manufacturer’s directions (every bleach will have a slightly different water-to-powder ratio). Apply the solution to dry grout so it soaks deeply. Let the solution sit for at least 15 minutes. Then, scrub the solution-covered grout and rinse the bleach away. Tip: The longer you let the oxygen bleach solution sit on the grout, the easier it will be to scrub the stains again. Note: While oxygen bleach is technically non-toxic, it isn’t safe to ingest in large amounts. Keep oxygen bleach out of the hands of kids and away from pets. For a Deep Clean: Magic Eraser
Magic Erasers work like, well, magic! Dip your Magic Eraser in water and rub your grout vigorously to watch stains and dirt disappear. Tip: If the dirty grout is in your bathroom, it helps to do this right after a steamy shower. For a Quick Refresh: Baking Soda + Vinegar
To give your grout a makeover, mix a paste of equal parts baking soda and water, and liberally cover the dirty grout with the mixture. Next, pour vinegar over your baking soda-covered grout. The mix of baking soda and vinegar will bubble up. Once the bubbling has died down, scrub the mixture with an old toothbrush and then rinse it away.
