Before you remodel, do you hold a family meeting about the project?
We recommend to our clients that, long before any dust is raised or furniture or the refrigerator is moved, they hold a family meeting about their upcoming renovation.

Open discussions are great as then everyone can get on the same page...I'm currently working on a project where the owners keep changing their minds and adding new items...it can be frustrating to say the least

We do all our own work, but yes, hubby and I always have many discussions and planning "meetings" before we start a project.
