Crafted a Wooden Box With a Faux Birch Finish
Ladies, get your jigsaws ready. This easy wooden project can be done in one day and by you! Just measure up 3 of the same size boards and 2 to fit for the sides, hammer together and paint it pretty! If you have scraps of wood this will be a free project.
I love birch wood so I did a faux birch finish , you can go to my blog for step by step instructions. I painted the interior of the box black. 2 paint tools are used to get this effect
Wooden boxes can be useful as well as decorative
For now I filled with Hydrangeas, pinecones and in the back some pretty dishes seeing that this piece of furniture is now in the dining room,
Now that I have made this one I think I will craft one for the living room and kitchen.
I also crafted a banner from brown grocery bag and made it also to look like birch.
Cant wait to fill it with Christmas greens!
