A Rusty Tin Cookie Sign

I had been saving an old piece of rusty tin, so I paired it with an old wooden frame and crafted a "Cookie" sign. I wanted a Farmhouse style sign that I would be able to use on other occasions besides Christmas. So I got my paints and sandpaper together.
I used a platter and traced the shape that would play out as the base of the sign.
Of course after the family saw the sign they all requested cookies, so I had to make some!
Just a bit of paint and some stencils and a tad of imagination. I had to trim out the piece of tin to fit the frame ,so I used the scraps to make a tin bow.
Signs are a great way to create a fun, colorful environment.
