Salvaged Chair Garden Planter

I found an old rickety chair by the side of the road that was too unsteady for seating. So, what to do with it? Make it a planter! I cut out a hole in the seat to pop in a pot, then screwed pipe clamps into the back rests to hold mason jars with succulents. It's one of my favorite planters!

How can the extra water drain from the jars , so the plant doesn't stay wet? Succulents don't want to be too wet.
