Using my newest charcoal color. I have 31 now. Trimmed in black.
Going to show how easy this CHALKlet's paint is. Yes. I only used 1/2 a pint!
Removed hardware, to keep it safe. It is so smooth. Remember no prep-just get a good brush like a Purdy.
See how fast it dries. But the coverage. Nice, huh ?
Trying to show the scratches all over.
Not such a clear pic, sorry.
OK now it's all painted the main color. Next step is easy. It's dry, so you use this little fine grit sand block. Just rub (not hard) and the powder from the chalk in the paint comes off so easy. It is very fine. I hate to just brush it away. Couldn't I find some use for it? ;-)
Before I rub in the wax, I trimmed dresser in black. You can see the black in the drawers. If your grooves don't keep the black paint in and the black slops out, wipe off gently with a soft cloth. Later, when all is dry, go over the outside with the other color. I like to sand the edges a little raw anyway, for the shabby look
Ok that's about it. Don't forget to buff the dry wax you rubbed all over after sanding and cleaning off the powder! Yeah, it came out so nice. Now, what to sell it for in the vintage world.
