Rustic Woodland Christmas Mantel
This year I decided to go with a Rustic Woodland Themed Christmas Mantel. My inspiration started with my Joy Wooden Sign and grew from there.
I made this sign with just a few 1x6's and used foam board behind it as a faux chalkboard. I just love how it turned out!
These drop cloth stockings are decorated with a large cotton piping, faux greenary, red berries, and painted jingle bells.
The bells I dry brushed with wait paint to make it looks as if it had a little bit of snow on it.
This garland is one of my favorite things as well. It looks to me as if someone drug it through snow all the way to my piano ; ) It adds a great rustic touch that I was looking for. See more on my blog:
