Antique Dresser Gets a Makeover

I recently found this antique dresser at a garage sale. It was screaming out, "Make me pretty again!"
As you can see from the before pictures, it was in sad, sad shape.
I ended up stripping the top and drawers with Citristrip and pulled out my electric hand sander for the body. I restained them with Early American and three coats of poly.
The body/shell was painted with American Paint Company's Dawn's Early Light. Their paint is a chalk/mineral based paint, which is supposed to adhere to anything. I finished the body with two coats of wax.
I'm so glad I decided to stain the drawers!
She's pretty again! You may view full post at: http://www.clockworkinteriors.com/?p=1026. Thank you!
