Easy Upgrade of Wall Vent With a Picture Frame!

Adding new base molding, I decided to upgrade the wall vent as well. So I used a picture frame! I love it and it's SO easy.
Picture frame vent... Looks so much nicer!
Adding taller base molding, I had to cut it to accommodate the low wall vent.
I wasn't thrilled with putting the old vent back. Then I came up with an idea...
I had this in the donation pile going to Goodwill! Lol! So I thought if give it a shot.
So I removed the picture and glass, bought some decorative metal sheeting from Hobby Lobby. I actually didn't even need to snip it - I bent it and it cut perfectly.

That's a great idea! For one sheet, you could do a bunch of them in your house for cheaper than paying $8.00 for one vent! :)
