Home Office Remodel With Home Made Built-Ins

Over the past year, my wife and I remodeled our builder basic home office. We ripped out the carpet, installed hardwood, added a coffered ceiling and constructed the built-in cabinets from scratch. Now we have an attractive and functional space that will add value to our home. You can read more about the process by visiting our blog.
The Before.

The built-ins are made from poplar and birch plywood.
The face frames of the built-ins feature a beaded profile. The doors are inset and shaker style.
The center desk is wide enough for both my wife and I to work side by side.
The coffered ceiling was the most time consuming part of the project. The beams are drywall with crown in the center.
The walls also feature multiple molding for a more substantial look.
