Christmas Holiday Pom Pom Wreath

$14
2 Hours
Easy
I created a bright and festive wreath for my home with a few skeins of yard and an inexpensive (less than $4) wire wreath form from my local craft store. In all, my fun and fluffy wreath took less than 2 hours to create! (And I was watching HGTV while I was making my wreath!)
I wrapped yarn around my fingers
To make my pom pom wreath I started out by wrapping brightly colored yarn around my hand to make good-sized pom poms.
Making a bundle of yarn to form a pom pom
Once I had enough yarn wrapped around my fingers, I carefully slipped off my loops of yarn and secured them with another piece of string by tying the section of string around my bundle and knotting it several times.
Then I cut through the ends of my loops to create my pom poms. It helps to have really sharp scissors for this step. Trim the pom poms to make them even if you like. (I didn't trim my pom poms that much.)
I tied my pom poms to my wreath using additional sections of string that I clipped from my skeins of yard. I wrapped a section of yarn around a pom pom and knotted it. Then I used the ends of that yarn to knot the pom poms to my wreath.
My finished pom pom wreath. It is big, brightly colored, and FLUFFY!! My kids adore it and it adds a festive holiday touch to our home.
