A little bit ago I moved all of my summer clothes to the back of my closet to make room for all of my warm winter clothing. I realized that I have several items that I haven’t worn in many years & one sweater dress in particular was beginning to look a little lonely. So I decided to give it a new life, one that will last for many more Christmas seasons!
After texting my sister to make sure she didn’t want the sweater I took it to pieces to make this pretty little Christmas Ornament! It took seriously no time at all! I think I spent almost as much time looking for some pretty lace for this ornament than I spent making this 5 Minute Christmas Ornament. Luckily, I decided I liked the twine bow since I somehow used up all of my lace for my Picture Frame Christmas Card Display… That must be a sign that it’s time to make a trip to Hobby Lobby!
Oh, but don’t worry about wastefulness, I’m not throwing out the sweater yet! I have several other ideas planned for the rest of the sweater. I probably won’t show a DIY on my site for them, but if you follow along on Instagram I’ll be sure to post a picture of what I do with the rest!
