Pottery Barn Inspired Reclaimed Wood Planter

My version of the planter is made of cedar fencing and paint stir sticks. I then painted and distressed it to look like the pottery barn version. My total cost was $8. To buy the same sized planter from Pottery Barn would have been $179

Thank you for posting this. I plan on cladding my old BBQ grill with old fence boards and this gives me ideas on how to structurally do so. I don't plan on drilling and screwing each board to the grill but to a furring strip that I then attach to the grill, that's doable.

The fencing can be transformed into something like this!! The big wooden planters look amazing, a very nice project indeed as the results are simply WOW. I loved them and would like to try them out very soon. Thank you so much for sharing the idea.
