    Maybe your question got cut off, but I think you are asking about using wallpaper as a backsplash. I have never done this, but I would note that backsplashes serve a functional purpose beyond looking nice. I think you would either need some really sturdy wallpaper or maybe a layer of plexiglass or glass over the wallpaper.

    I have a wallpaper backsplash that has been up now about 10 yrs and have had no problem with it. Most wallpaper these days are really durable and occasionally I take a damp paper towel to wipe it down. It has held up extremely well even with 5 kids.

    I have used the paintable wallpaper that looks like pressed tin...I painted the whole thing white and the raised design yellow (my kitchen color at the time). It looked like hand-painted (read: expensive lol) tiles and lasted for years!
