With Christmas on my mind, I knew that I wanted to try my hand at making some angel ornaments. I just wasn't sure what materials I was going to use.
Until I looked at my stash from my last trip to the Dollar Store and saw these cookie sheets. I knew that I was going to use them for something and loved the waffle embossed pattern on them. Then the idea hit me and I played around with it.
I decided on the tin for the skirt and wings. I used the edge of the cookie sheet for the top of the wings for some variation. I know I am going to have a lot of fun coming up with more ideas for using this awesome material. Just be careful, the piece that is leftover is sharp when cutting it, so use gloves.

The body is made with a wooden clothes peg or clothespin, whichever you choose to call them. I just happened to have them in my stash. The berry floral wire was from Jo-Anns discounted fall decor and the ribbon was from Hobby Lobby. You could easily use a strip of cotton rag or whatever other material for the top of the dress and sleeves.
