Easy Under the Bed Storage, Repurposing Old Drawers

For months I had been walking by some old drawers I had picked up for free on craig's list that were collecting dust on my back porch. I had thought of several different ways to repurpose them but nothing really clicked. Eventually I decided to use them as some very useful under the bed storage for my youngest son. We love how easily he can get them and how useful they are. Not to mention he can clean up his mess and put it away with out any help, which always makes mom happy! Here is my version of using drawers as under the bed storage...
For more details on the build check out my blog post!
Free drawers I had picked up off of craig's list.
Using left over spray paint I painted the insides of the drawers.
I glued and nailed the drawers together.
Attached a scrap plywood bottom and casters for easy rolling.
Used an old piece of fence for the front.
Stenciled on some number words.

After a few coats of lacquer on the front and some easy rope handles, I was done!

Not a bad way to use up some old drawers eh? Super useful and super cute!

Great idea but I agree that it would be nice to see the finished project😉

I wish I could see what it looks like assembled under the bed, fully assembled.
