What's the best tool for sanding in tight spaces?

I'm looking to get sanding on detailed work, or the inside of wood that I have scrolled. Looking for your opinions. Thanks!

    A finger nail file.

    What about a dremel? They should have small attachments just the size you are looking for.

    If it's variable speed, and goes slow, it could work too. Otherwise, at least for me, I'd wind up sanding too much off. I need to practice more using my Dremel.

    Sometime for tight detail work I use stripper and the tools you use during the holidays to get nuts our of their shells - just open the kitchen gadget drawer and look for what will work and use it gently.
