When I found this antique sprinkler on a garbage pile at a local construction site I was so excited I ran all the way home. But it's been sitting around waiting for inspiration to strike. And this morning it did - it's a fabulous, unique outdoor candle holder.

I'm pretty committed to mobilizing all the items in my stash of roadside rescues and similar (thrifting treasures, attic and cellar raids). Keep checking back here and on my blog for new posts decoration and upcycled decoration decoration

  @Barb Rosen Thanks, Barb. I love all the vintage ruler projects floating around, but I had to wait to create mine. Months ago I was tidying my den (which is more studio than office, truth be told). I had a handful of rulers when the phone rang and I dropped them on my desk. They fell into a star pattern. I knew then I had to wait for Christmas and have been struggling against temptation every time I've seen an adorable ruler project posted.
