The Easy Way To Unclog Your Drains
With the holiday season upon us, there are sure to be tons of messes in our kitchen, and lots of activity at the kitchen sink! It seems like every year around this time, our sink gets clogged up, and I wanted to find a more natural way to clear our drains than using store bought options that are filled with harsh chemicals. This trick will help clear most drains so you can get back to enjoying the holidays!
You will need baking soda, vinegar and boiling water.
Start by pouring boiling water down your clogged drain.
Next, pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain.
Follow the baking soda by pouring a mixture of 1 cup of boiling water that has been mixed with 1 cup of vinegar over the baking soda.
It will immediately start to bubble up, which means it's doing it's job!
Wait until the bubbles die down, and rinse with hot water straight from your tap. This method works on most clogs, especially if you have poured any sort of grease or fat down your drains (which you should try to avoid). Along with this post, I'm sharing 15 Cleaning Tips To Help Save Your Sanity This Holiday Season....see link below!

Yes, and surely do hope it works, as draino does it for a few days and then the problem is back again;-(.

Have a question about this project?
I am on septic sewer and is this safe to use?
Thank you and I am going to try this today!!!!
Can you use this on the bathroom drain?
I often use a brush to clean the gunk out of bathroom sink drains, gunk that is usual a lot of hair and god knows what else that is black and funky. I get the kinds of brush I can only find at our local hardware store, non big box. Depending on your drain plug you can get different sizes.
