Burlap Poinsettia Flowers

Today I’m sharing some Burlap Poinsettia Flowers I made to use as ornaments on my neutral Christmas tree. If you’ve read the last few posts, I’ve been sharing little snippets of my new neutral Christmas Tree that is going in our Dining Room.
These were a lot of fun to make and pretty easy too.
love them on my tree and they have floral wire so I can use them in a vase or in other places if I want a change later too…………but I really love them on my tree.
I was in Michaels the other day and saw these beautiful Burlap Poinsettia Flowers and one bunch that had five on a stem and was $12.99.
I even considered buying them with a 40% off coupon and then I thought “I could probably make them for next to nothing too.”
Aren’t they pretty? Mine are not exactly the same but close enough and I LOVE them on my neutral tree.
So here’s what I did. I gathered my burlap that I had in a scrap bag (the one I bought last year for $4.00 and I’ve made so many things with) and the glitter glue I just got the other day at the Dollar Tree last week and got crafting.
I cut out a bunch of petal shapes and made some larger and some smaller. They don’t have to be perfect.
I bought the glitter glue and the floral berry stems at the Dollar Tree so these cost me $3.00 to make total.
All the steps in the tutorial are on my blog so please come on over. Just click on the link below.
