Left over wrapping paper scraps are the worst, right? You feel too guilty to throw them away, but they are barely useable for anything else. Well, they can be turned into cute little paper trees!
Use a few flower pots and some dowels cut to size. Prop the dowel up using a bunch of scrunched up scrap paper. It works like a charm.
Then just start cutting squares of your wrapping paper or scrap paper - whatever you like. Place them over the dowels in a 'random' and 'messy' way.
I also used twine to tie off sections on the dowel every once in a while so the paper wasn't too heavy and bulky.
And that's it! A sweet little up cycle craft, perfect to do with the kids on a rainy or snowy afternoon :) For more on how this little craft went down, visit our blog www.diypassion.com. Thanks for reading!
