My Christmas Creations- Hoping People Like Them!

Cute little thread trees. I love them :)
My little forest!
Trying to work out what would be stiff enough to hold them up BUT not be a safety risk to children for instance if they fell on what my picture shows which is sticks that I used to support. Starch and glue didn't do the trick? So if anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful and thanks in advance.
I managed to use silver plated jewellery wire to hold these up. I added a bit of Cornish gorse at the back which has needles to challenge even a huge cactus, not the easiest to find that I could reach (I am vertically challenged as they say) and cut!
We have such lovely slate along with many more of natures wonders around our home. Some people think of slate as dull grey but when wet can look stunning for sure. I put clear sealant on the pieces I have used to bring out and maintain their beauty.

I have to ask you if you have ever sat a battery operated candle under one that sits on the ground? I thought of that when I looked at the ones on the wire, which made me think of tiny lamps. Do you believe I love them?

Oooh! do you know I didn't think of that, thanks Lori, seems obvious now you have said! It would only be suitable for the ones that had the correct matching round diameter base of course but brilliant yes. I have just been searching the house, as I know I have some somewhere? I can get some tomorrow no worries, can't wait now to do that and take some more images. With the smaller ones I just tried to place a tiny string of led's to make them look their best imo. Will get some of the fake candles tomorrow if I remember.

They are great. The white one looks magical don't you think? Hope they are selling like hot cakes.
