I would like to update my backsplash

Question

My current back splash is a beige 12x12 tile on the diagonal, so it is like a diamond. Is it possible to just remove every other tile?  I would like to have a checkered back splash. Thanks.

You can also go with an onyx mosaic tile backsplash.

Think trying to remove every other tile would be very difficult without causing damage. Why not just paint them. There are primers and paints designed to go over shiny surfaces without having the rough sand.

Sounds like a lot of work.You can also find removable vinyl stickers, just google it. They come in all colors and many different cool patterns! Just peel and stick!

hey you have the same exact backsplash as I, here is what I did ....I got a can of Behr high gloss white paint, painted the backsplash and added trim underneath the cabinet where it was not finished
