Christmas Light up Repurposed Wine Bottles ‪#‎HolidayLights‬

Merry Christmas, y'all! Check out some awesome homemade gifts, all using labels and recycled/repurposed wine bottles. There are even some printables and a recipe, complete with video tutorial over on the blog in it for you! Enjoy! ‪#‎DIYGift
Giving a lovely gift doesn't mean you have to break the bank to get there. As Dr. Seuss said in his famous book, The Grinch that stole Christmas, "Maybe Christmas, the Grinch thought, doesn't come from a store."
These gifts are super simple. For the lighted wine bottle, I simply drilled a small hole in the back of the bottle in order to thread the lights into it. When drilling a hole in glass, remember to go VERY slowly and to keep the bottle wet while drilling to diminish the possibility of cracking the bottle. I explain this in full detail in the video on the blog post. You can either paint the bottle or do something as easy as what I did, wrap some (yes, you guessed it) scrapbook paper around it and added another label.
For the candle holder, I simply bought the top, which already came attached to a cork. It's super easy to DIY, as well. Just take some Dollar store candle holders and attach them to a cork. I then decorated the bottle with some scalloped scrapbook paper and the label I created.

For the pumpkin banana bread, I baked the bread into mini loaves, then wrapped them in food safe wax paper, adding some more scalloped scrapbook paper, then adding the label to hold it all together. For my Pumpkin Banana bread recipe, check out the blog. You can also find the free label printables there as well.
