My Alternative Christmas Trees

Almost 100% everything you see I collected from around my garden. Money is tight so was delighted to have such an assortment to choose from. The ribbons and lights I just had anyway, so all in all, very cheap for me to produce albeit time consuming. I really enjoyed creating them though. I have 2 more ready to be decorated, last sealant coat just drying. Cant wait as I still have loads of ideas. I really hope you like them and any comments or like would be very welcome. Constructive criticism also welcomed.
I preserved and sparkled all the leaves as well as creating the tree itself from a gorgeous palm we have in our garden. Quite pleased with the results!
It looks even more Christmassy in the dark so I will try to get an image on soon as.
I collected all the tiny little cones in our local hospital car park!, sprayed them silver and just put a hint of red sparkle on a few of them. I did actually take quite a few off this tree afterwards as I decided there were too many.
These little see pods were ideal for spraying and hopefully not like anything else you would see out there. I love the way the little bottles turned out. One has a couple of little fake rose stems in, another has little what I call Angels wings in but are actually a completely dried out leaf when it eventually turns skeletal, really lovely but very delicate.
Totally away from Christmas really but it still looks attractive. Just attached small artificial white flowers and some beaded wires. I think this one may be more for the shabby chic ers out there?
I put some slate from my garden in the base just for something rather more original I hope you will agree. Anyhow, just some of my creations that I hope will give you all some ideas if you like them.
