Vintage deck. I photographed this deck today. Can you guess how old it is? See below for hints.

When this deck was built-
My cell phone was the size of a car battery
There were no digital cameras
My youngest daughter was not born yet
Contempory house style was the rage
I had blonde hair

Answer 1997, did you guess it right? How about close? 15 year old STK cedar deck. Has a little rot in the decking, but 98% still looks great.

Oh I think that's an awesome idea! I've been collecting old Kodak cameras to display in our Lady's Parlor with old photographs my Mom took and newer ones I took. My Daddy always took movies so I'm hoping to be able to get them transferred to digital so I can put them in digital frames.

Most decks last 10 to 15 yrs.. I built my deck in 1981 and it was still going strong till I sold the house in 2004. As long as you keep them up they can last long
